Fainting

Fainting is a sudden, usually temporary, brief loss of responsiveness generally caused by insufficient oxygen in the brain.

The signs and symptoms are the same as shock with the exception that the pulse rate is slower.

A casualty who has fainted will generally make a rapid recovery and feel fine very quickly.
